Our home caregivers are reliable professionals, who have been thoroughly screened, background checked (seven years) and formally oriented to the needs of each client. Our caregivers are employees, not subcontractors so they are bonded and insured. Clinically, our home caregivers are trained to provide shower assistance, incontinent care, transfers, dressing and more. We can also provide assistance around the house, including changing bed linens, making the bed, laundry, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and companionship. Many of our home caregivers have additional training and experience in specialty areas such as Alzheimer's, dementia, hospice and end of life care.
Our clients are given a safe and affordable way to remain active and independent, often for longer than would otherwise be possible. Home Helpers is committed to fitting your schedule and budget by offering eldercare as needed; from just an hour to 24-hour service. We're there when you need us, for as long as you need us! For safety and peace of mind around the clock, we offer Direct Link, our Emergency In-Home Monitoring System. During an emergency, a trained professional will respond immediately; sending the help you need and notifying family members of the alarm and the outcome.
We are locally owned and operated in Phoenix, Arizona by Miki Antonelli, a Masters Level RN who has worked serving the local geriatric community for more than twenty years. Our client base consists of individuals needing long term home care, respite and recuperative care; mostly in the senior community but we also provide home care services for new moms or anyone recuperating from injury, illness or surgery. We service the East Valley from North Scottsdale to Sun Lakes and Ahwatukee. We are proud members of AzNHA, the Arizona Non-Medical Home Care Association, an Informational and Advocacy Association for Consumers of Non-Medical Home Care Services.
